  that's what she asked me as i was putting my laundry in my car at the laudromat.

  she was parked right next to me and she rolled down her window and had the awake and watchtower in her hands.

  i said i use to be one of jehovahs witnesses but because of the pedophile problems as well as the societies involvement in the un, i left.

  Voter Registration?

  i just completed my first ever voter registration form.

  Funniest story ever. I registered to vote. First voting day I remebered I wanted to vote about a half hour before polls closed. But the real problem was i just smoked OPIUM.(Not Something I'd ever want to do again) So i run literally around the corner to vote. Go into the voting booth close the curtain make my first voting choice (there were a few) then I think to activate the vote i pull the lever. the lever was to open the curtain. so I am standing in front of last minute voters pushing buttons pulling levers. The attendant says "ma'am you can only vote once" It takes me a minute to realize what is going on. then i say "oh" and leave when i got outside I ran all the way home and cried. SOOO STUPID!

  my cat is going on 13 in april.

  i guess that inside cats can live up to 17 or 18.. i never had a same pet for that long.

  i keep them t'il they die.

  jws aren't supposed to breakdown in their emotions for it could be a sign that you put too much emphasis on the temporary.

  just focus on the ressurection, for heaven' sake!

  don't mourn like the world that does not have hope!

  why is it when a witness person is alive they always have the threat over them that they won't be in the new world. But if they die your not going to tell their loved ones that they may not be in the new world. It makes it very awkward to deal with death.

  Okay adam and eve lost their perfection because of adam's sin, his eternal life. so why do animals die? I am such an animal lover. They were in the garden, they didn't sin. Did they also have eternal life in the beginning? Nobody knows but I would love to hear your opinion.

  i know i know, i'm so sorry to bug you guys about this but for obvious reasons i can't talk about it with anyone from the congregation and you guys are familiar with the watchtower.

  in the watchtower, the woman is expected to be 'chaste.

  ' so i'm worried that if i decide to marry someone that is a jw if what i did before will be a problem.

  Would you want Jesus as a friend?

  whilst christians like to portray jesus as the supreme example of love and mercy ( as opposed to a supposedly wicked 'watchtower god' ), does the bible's presentation of jesus cast him in quite the same flattering light that christians like to believe?

  for instance, at revelation 19:15 jesus is described as 'smiting the nations and ruling them with a rod of iron and treading the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty god.

  ' does jesus sound just as bad as the 'wicked watchtower god'?

  What Was Gods MOTIVE??????

  first lets assume for a minute that there is a god!..

  (although you can not prove to me that there is a loving god)

  what would have been his motive for getting men to write a letter for all the people of the earth, for thousands of years to come, and it being inaccurate and full of symbolism?

  Elders sting operation on myspace

  a certain young person told me last night a jw friend of his from n.y. received an elder visit .

  the suspect was told that the elders had been lurking about on myspace and had caught several young ones with accounts there .

  they told this person's account was benign yet was counseled it was bad association to be on myspace.
